About Diesse Tile Specialists
It’s about more than just tiles
On the surface, Diesse represents affordable luxury in the form of porcelain, glass, natural stone and ceramic tiles. Dig a little deeper and you’ll find its origins date back some thirty years when the company founder, Paul Seager began work in the tiling industry with his father, Denis. At a time when nobody had thought to import tiles from Italy, Paul’s father became one of the first to do so, supplying a loyal customer base from his tile distribution company in London.
Using his initiative to pave the way for others in the tiling industry wasn’t the only thing Paul learned from his father. One of the key principles passed down from one generation to the next was how to treat people – both staff and customers. With a knack for forging strong relationships, Denis Seager treated everybody with a deep respect, and this helped his tile company to grow in ways that were beyond his competitors at the time.
Thirty years later, Denis’ son founded Diesse, naming the business after him (Diesse are his initials pronounced phonetically) and following his personal and business ethics to the letter. Today, despite huge changes in the industry, customer care and unparalleled levels of service run throughout everything Diesse does.
This is about more than just tiles then – it’s about people too.
What we can do for you
While the above is incredibly important to us here at Diesse, we understand that as a small business owner, architect or designer, you’re interested in what we can do to set you apart from the competition. We get it. We really do. Here are just some of the ways we keep businesses like yours one step ahead of the game:
We pay regular visits to manufactures to uncover all the latest technological developments in the tile industry. This means you get the latest launches in front of you as soon as they happen.
We listen to the brief of your project (and we mean really listen; we don’t simply wait for our turn to talk). From porcelain to ceramic, from glass to natural stone, we then specify, source and supply the exact right tiles for your unique situation – whatever it takes and however challenging that may be. (In fact, we’ve been known to quite like a challenge.)
We source materials from the best tile suppliers in Italy, Spain, Portugal and Turkey. We also work with partner tile suppliers in the UK, enabling us to write a complete M40 specification to include tile adhesives, grouts, trims and expansion joints. We then project manage according to your requirements, meaning your tiles and materials arrive in one delivery and on time.
We keep our costs low without ever compromising on service or quality. This means you can go ahead with your project with complete confidence that you’re receiving the best and most competitive rates.
We don't lose clients. It’s true – here at Diesse, we have an incredibly loyal client base that can’t do without our unrivalled service and extensive market knowledge. While no project is too big or too small, our experience in handling larger projects means that our clients remain confident they’re in safe hands.
What do our clients look like?
Architects & Designers
We can source and specify materials for your projects, no matter what the scale. We currently work with a range of hotels, bars and restaurants, along with larger projects such as train stations and residential developments. Sample chips for our porcelain and ceramic tiles are available, along with all other ranges featured on our website.
It’s increasingly common for us to receive requests from main contractors to help source and supply tiles when a project is running over budget. In the past year alone, we’ve saved main contractors tens of thousands of pounds sourcing materials within their budget.
Developers & House Builders
We are tile suppliers for some of the largest development projects taking place across London. We excel at specifying to fit any budget and ensuring properties are completed to the best finish possible.
As a tiling contractor, you already know it's all about finding the right supplies. We can help you discover alternatives to expensive tiles and materials that might be over-specified for a project. This is backed by a service that suits the 'need-it-quick' demands of the industry.
